Important Notice: Do Not Update Aadhaar Now – Scholarship Payments for 2026-27 Starting Soon

Financial Year 2026-27 has started, and scholarship payment process will begin soon by various Government departments.

All students and beneficiaries are strongly advised NOT to make any changes to their Aadhaar details during this critical period, as it may affect Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) payments.

Do Not Make These Changes Now:

• Name correction in Aadhaar  
• Mobile number update  
• Address change  
• Date of birth correction  
• Biometric update  

Why This is Important:

If Aadhaar is updated during the payment processing period:

• Aadhaar may become temporarily inactive  
• Bank Aadhaar seeding may get affected  
• DBT payment may fail  
• Scholarship amount may get delayed  

Important Instructions for Students:

• Keep Aadhaar active  
• Ensure Aadhaar is linked (seeded) to bank account  
• Keep bank account active  
• Do not close your bank account  
• Avoid making any Aadhaar updates now  

Students are advised to wait until the scholarship payment process is completed before making any corrections or updates to Aadhaar.

• Check Aadhaar status  
• Verify bank seeding status  
• Confirm DBT eligibility
