🎓 SSLC Prize Money 2026 – Incentive for SC Students
The Social Welfare Department, Karnataka provides Prize Money to Scheduled Caste (SC) students who have performed well in the SSLC (10th standard) annual examination.
💰 Prize Money Details
- 60% – 74.99% marks: ₹7,000
- 75% and above: ₹15,000
- District Topper: ₹1,00,000
👉 Students must pass in first attempt with First Class.

Students must apply only through Online mode on the official Social Welfare Department website.

📋 Steps to Apply
- Visit the website and click on Register
- Select Scheme: SSLC Prize Money
- Enter Aadhaar number → Verify using OTP
- Fill Caste & Income (RD details)
- Enter SSLC academic details
- Submit the application
📚 SSLC Data Information
- State Board Students:
SSLC data will be automatically fetched from the SSLC Board - CBSE & ICSE Students:
👉 Visit the concerned Taluk Social Welfare Office
👉 Submit your marks card
👉 Get your marks and details updated by department officials
✅ Application Verification
After submitting the application online, it will be verified and approved by the district-level Social Welfare officers.
If there are any issues:
👉 Visit the Social Welfare Office of your SSLC studied district / school district
🏦 Payment Information
The sanctioned amount will be credited to the Aadhaar-linked bank account.
Therefore:
✔️ Aadhaar seeding is mandatory
✔️ If not linked, get it done immediately at your bank
